Effective weight loss therapy is my main specialism. It gives me the pleasure and satisfaction of working with people who can really benefit from using hypnosis and EFT to lose weight. I never fail to feel amazed and thrilled when my clients achieve that therapeutic shift that signals the end of self-defeating dieting patterns and the beginning of iron willpower, fantastic motivation and enough steely determination to lose all their excess weight and beome slim, healthy and filled with a zest for living! It's great. You will most likely come for hypnotherapy because you feel stuck and cannot lose weight using more traditional methods. You may understand that it is your mind and emotions that are letting you down. You may feel weak and lacking in purpose. Or you start each day with great intentions only to fail by lunchtime and grab something fattening because your life is making you fed up. And therein lies the clue. It's your life that isn't working quite right - and overeating is your way of keeping going until you can find the way to make it better. Eating has a place - because I don't believe in a life without pleasure and enjoyment, without delicious meals. Both methods are equally successful but some clients may find one or the other more effective for them and their individual lifestyles. Both of the treatment programmes take five sessions usually over a period of three or four months. Because it does take time to make these fundamental life changes and make them permanent it would be unrealistic to expect immediate results. The weight did not appear overnight, nor did your willpower fade in a few days. So time is the key, time and practice. I am under no illusions about how much work is required - but my job is to make is easy, enjoyable and ultimately successful. Because I am so confident in the treatments I offer a guarantee that if you do exactly as I ask you to do in terms of your attendance for sessions, hypnosis practice, your homework and working at your eating habits (all of the homework is enjoyable) I will offer free hypnosis sessions after the treatment has finished so you can work through your issues and get to the successful finish line! Sometimes clients have a lot of issues to be dealt with and only extra sessions can do this. Sometimes there are events outside of your control like illness or family problems that mean you don't progress as quickly as I would expect. So, after the five sessions of therapy have been completed, every further treatment that you need is free of charge. I'm sure many celebrities have had hypnosis but we only get to hear about a select few. In the UK, Lily Allen has famously used hypnosis both to lose weight and to overcome her negative body image and finally love herself again - just as she is. The conscious is that part of our brain that we use when we decide things, so if you ask someone a question, they answer with their conscious mind. But we also use our unconscious mind all the time too, such as once you learn to drive a car, you don't consciously think 'mirror, signal, manoeuvre' you do it unconsciously. It is at the unconscious level that diets often fail.
